Practically full the square and practically full the people … East the second Concert of the sails, celebrated on Saturday, the 11th of July, overcame fully to the first concert and almost also to the forecasts of the Foundation Town of Pedraza

The Virtuosos of the Philharmonic orchestra of Berlin (Berlin Philarmonische Virtuosen) pleased to them nearly 2500 persons who congregated in the Biggest Square, and nearly 3500 vehicles parked to the outskirts of the people, to try to preserve this way the Town as natural as possible and without the distortion of the artificial lights.

One more year of success with the always marvelous end of keeping on collecting funds for the restoration of what will be the future head office - auditorium of the Foundation Town of Pedraza.

The Biggest Square of Pedraza congregated to approximately 1500 persons to attend the performance of the group “The Scholars Baroque Ensemble”, in the XVIIIth “Concerts of the Sails” organized by the Foundation Town of Pedraza.

After the sun fell down, thousands of sails there illuminated the whole village for delight of them nearly 10.000 visitors who came to enjoy a marvelous summer night in an incomparable place where the electrical light was almost anecdotal, since the public system of illumination goes out to be able to imagine the Town some centuries ago.

Next Saturday, the 11th of July (always more crowded this concert) there will take place the performance of Philarmonische Virtuosen of Berlin. The second night for the senses.

In the last third of the century XlX the front of the church of Santo Domingo moved to the church of Saint John, in the Biggest Square. Now the Foundation Town of Pedraza has done a reply and yesterday they were stopping installing the last stones. The idea was that it was possible to meditate in the already near Concerts of the Sails. La idea era que se pudiera contemplar en los ya cercanos Conciertos de las Velas.

The natives of Segovia give a punctuation of 8,8 to the Concerts of the Sails of Pedraza turning them into the event most valued for the natives of Segovia according to a survey published by the Socioeconomic Observatory of Segovia. In the second position it remains Titirimundi (with 8,4) followed by the Baroque Market of The Farm (7,7), the Sit-ins of Cuéllar (7,7) and the Fair of Craft of Segovia (7,3).

The same way, the Concerts of the Sails are known by 56 % of the interviewees.

Yesterday on Saturday, the 12th of July there took place the second one of two “Concerts of the Sails” organized by the Foundation Town of Pedraza. The closing of this edition was in charge of the Band of Chamber of Covent Garden of London.

The day was threatening rain, but at about 5 PM there remained the blue and clear, slightly fresh temperature sky, to be able to enjoy a marvelous concert, especially in his second part.
