The second “Concert of the sails” 2008

Yesterday on Saturday, the 12th of July there took place the second one of two “Concerts of the Sails” organized by the Foundation Town of Pedraza. The closing of this edition was in charge of the Band of Chamber of Covent Garden of London.

The day was threatening rain, but at about 5 PM there remained the blue and clear, slightly fresh temperature sky, to be able to enjoy a marvelous concert, especially in his second part.

The first “Concert of the Sails” 2008

Last Saturday, the 5th of July 2008 there took place the first one of two “Concerts of the Sails” organized by the Foundation Town of Pedraza. The manager of opening this edition was the Symphonic Band Bohemia of Prague.

It was necessary to hope that a summer thunderstorm should happen at about 5 PM …

… and a small interruption to the beginning of the performance …

… to enjoy the music in an incomparable environment as it is the Biggest Square of Pedraza with the alertness of the tower of Saint John.

In this small video you can see as the people are taking seat after the soaker.

Thousands and thousands of sails illuminated the Town, earlier, during and after the concert, for enjoyment of all that there we gave ourselves appointment.

The second and last concert of the sails of this edition 2008 will take place next Saturday, the 12th of July 2008 in charge of the Band of Chamber of Covent Garden of London.
