Door of the Town of Pedraza

At the end of the XXth century there was discovered his current front, which could be a Mozarab. In turn, it is part of the turret of alertness where there is located The Jail, building rehabilitated at the beginning of the eighties for museum, visit and diverse cultural acts. A su vez, forma parte del torreón de vigilancia donde se ubica La Cárcel, edificio rehabilitado a primeros de los ochenta para museo, visita y diversos actos culturales.
Constructed aproximádamente in the VIIIth century it was rehabilitated later on the XVIth century and it still keeps the doors of black poplar, something spoiled already, that even can close leaving the Town "sealed" and fortified as formerly.
Inside the arch it is possible to see the figure of name “The crucifix of the Door of the Town”.
