Dull pigeon, artist Pedrazana, inaugurates this year the exhibitions period in the room of the Town hall of Pedraza.

The esgrafiado is a decoration skill for building fronts that consists, by means of staff or drawing, of removing the first layer of the plaster creating a form in relief. Lime, sand, cement and water are the materials to be used, together with a staff and a grafio or punch.

The Mudejars it became fashionable in the peninsula, but earlier Etruscans and Romans used it. In Spain we find few examples of this skill principally in Barcelona, Burgos and Avila.

The arrival of these elegant and trusting birds is usually an event in all the peoples, in fact there is multitude of sayings and popular sayings. They come from the south of the Sahara crossing the Strait of Gibraltar.
